5 Weeks Pregnant
Fetal Age: 3 Weeks
FAST FACT
my uterus will be about the size of an orange and my baby will grow from the size of an orage seed to the size of a raspberry :)
HOW I'M FEELING:
excited! kept myself busy reading about pregnancy and good health diet for pregnant women
this is also the week when i made this blog :)
PHYSICALLY:
nothing much...aside from my swollen breasts, i have no morning sickness at all! sometimes i feel a tiny pain in my lower abdomen as if i'm about to have my period.
EMOTIONALLY:
I get really upset easily especially with my husband! hehehe

PHYSICALLY:

EMOTIONALLY:
I get really upset easily especially with my husband! hehehe
FACTS ABOUT MY GROWING BABY:
How big is my baby? My Baby hasn't grown a great deal in size since last week and will now measure about 0.05 inches, which is about 1.25mm. This however does not mean that your baby is not changing and developing. There is in fact lots of development which is taking place. At this stage, the amniotic sac is about the size of a grape.
My baby's development During this week a plate, which will later become your babys heart, will start to develop as well as the central nervous system, muscles and bone formation will also begin to take some shape.
My babys facial features will also begin to start taking shape, although this happens over a long period of time. Facial features begin to form in week 5 and should be completed around week 9. This development starts off with five tissue folds which accumulate at the base of the head. These folds will form the chin, cheeks, upper jaw and the ears.

I found out I was Pregnant on May 07, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. (i had the test at 8:45 a.m. but haven't seen the second line clearly so i thought it was negative, but when i tried to look at it again, to my surprise it has two lines already!)
I was just at home when i found out, it was saturday morning and i'm on my 5th delayed day of menstruation, I was waiting for my period but then decided to take a pregnancy test since I'd like to see my dentist because of my severe toothache.
At first, when i saw the test, i'm not surprised at all since I have been getting negative results in the past months and because somehow i liked it to be negative since i'd like to visit my dentist soon... i just thought that this month is not the right time yet. but having missed my period for 5days now, i am pregnant! I should be pregnant! so i peeked on my test again and can't believe what i saw! 2 lines! I hid the result to my husband wanting to be sure first.. I rummaged my closet to look for my previous PT and compared it.. it is indeed positive.. or that is what i think so? confused at the moment, i burst into tears.. if it is from joy i do not know.. the words that came out of my mouth was "thank you Lord, I can't believe it!" suddenly remember about last week's message, the Lord hasn't forgotten about me! and had a short silent thanksgiving prayer.
May 8, 2011 Sunday.. right before going out of our front door on our way to church I told my husband by having him see my pregnancy test, actually his reaction is not what I expected! hehe parang wala lang kasi eh.. lolz! check for yourselves!

I really wanted to celebrate right away, but i am still in a state of shock and I'm not 100% sure if the result was real (super shocked tlga!) so we decided to ask our ninongs and ninangs. The first persons we told about it was Ptr. Ninong Bobis and ninang Jane.. we asked them if we can have some private time with them and said
BHE: "ninang, may gusto lang kaming iconsult sa inyo ni ptr. eh.. kasi hindi ko tlga sure kung ano ito (while getting my PT from my bag) ano po ba ang basa dito?"
after seeing my PT she was surprised and teary eyed.
NINANG JANE: "nak! oo! meron na"
BHE: tama po ba ninang? positive po ba?
PTR. NINONG: yun! answered prayer na! :)
at syempre we were very emotional and she embraced me ^^
last June 20, 2010, Father's Day, Ptr. and Ninang Jane made a commitment to pray with us everyday at 10pm and in return we promised to let them know first.
the second couple whom we told naman is Ptr. Ninong Cesar and Ninang Net, they have the same reactions... they were both overflowing with joy for us, praise God! for an answered prayer!
actually they were so excited that they wanted to tell it right away but I asked them to keep it private first until after I visited my OB and confirm everything.
after the service we headed at SM Bacoor to eat lunch at Kenny Rogers, it is while we were enjoying our lunch when we spilled the beans to my sister in law, ate phops and showed her my pregnancy test.. her reaction is priceless too! shocked and teary eyed just like me! thanks for praying ate! my niece and nephews prayers were indeed answered very soon! :) they will be having a cousin soon!
and the third couple who knew was my bestfriend Hazel, I texted her this:
"I waited patiently for the LORD
and He inclined unto me
and heard my cry"

indeed! the Lord has not
forgotten me!
It's positive bes!
I received my miracle
Praise be to God.
actually, at 5:41 in the morning she texted me this:
"Mwaah! You just got an
early kiss from me!
Happy Mother's Day,
my soon-to-be-mom
bestfriend!
luv u lek!"
hahaha! bes! ang lakas ng pakiramdam mo na preggy na ako! you're the first one who greeted me thru text on Mother's Day mismo. thank you for committing yourself to pray for me! I won't say that the Lord answered my prayer but instead I am so proud to have friends and second parents, and even church members who devotedly prayed for us! mas masaya pala ang feeling ng maraming nanalangin for you and will celebrate with you! so let me say "answered prayer na tayo!!" hehe time to celebrate! Praise be to God!
